Fu Tian

Tian Fu (天夫), born in Hohhot, is a Salzburg based composer, rapper and producer, currently pursuing a doctoral degree in artistic research at the University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna. Fu’s creative practice spans a diverse range of genres and forms. His works have been showcased in various settings, including concert halls, museums, galleries, open-air festivals, nightclubs, live-streamed performances, and academic conferences. He co-founded the improvisational duo AUUF with sound artist Antuum, the hip-hop collective Youquzhi (有趣志) with Jin Tiaozao and San Cebai, and the experimental collective Knot with Ettore Biagi and Aya Musui. In the field of artistic research, Tian Fu focuses on breaking down barriers and fostering “mutual permeation” between rap and contemporary art music.
